- Water (Aqua): the solvent that carries the rest of the formula.
- Glycerin: derived from vegetable oils. Pulls moisture into the skin so it isn't stripped during the shave.
- Stearic Acid: a plant-derived fatty acid. Builds the rich, cushioning layer the blade glides on.
- Palmitic Acid: a plant-derived fatty acid. Works with the stearic acid to give the cream its slick, protective body.
- Cetyl Alcohol: a fatty alcohol. Softens skin and thickens the cream.
- Glyceryl Stearate: a plant-derived emulsifier. Keeps the oil and water phases blended.
- Avena Sativa (Oat) Bran Extract: soothes and calms skin through the shave.
- Allantoin: settles sensitive skin and supports recovery.
- Panthenol: provitamin B5. Hydrates and helps the skin barrier hold up to the blade.
- Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride: a coconut-derived emollient. Adds slip so the razor doesn't drag.
- Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice: hydrates and cools.
- Hydroxyethylcellulose: a cellulose-derived thickener. Gives the cream its texture and cushion.
- Sodium Phytate: derived from rice bran. Binds trace metals from water and raw materials that would otherwise oxidize the formula and shorten shelf life.
- Natural Fragrance: bergamot, clary sage, and patchouli.
- Phenoxyethanol: a synthetic preservative. Prevents bacterial, mold, and yeast growth in the jar.
- Ethylhexylglycerin: a preservative booster. Increases the antimicrobial efficacy of the phenoxyethanol.

Anonymous I love the Blu Atlas shaving cream as a product I can travel with because it's small enough that the TSA doesn't bother me. It would be even better if Blu Atlas made the same product in a plastic tube that was TSA acceptable; glass is great but breakable and heavier than plastic. Small thing but FYI.
