Is your deodorant an antiperspirant? Will it prevent sweating?
Our deodorant is not meant to be used as an antiperspirant or to prevent sweat. It is an aluminum-free deodorant made with 99% naturally derived ingredients meant to neutralize odor.
Does your deodorant contain baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)?
Our deodorant is made with 99% naturally derived ingredients, and does not contain baking soda.
Why does your deodorant contain phenoxyethanol?
Our products contain less than 1% of phenoxyethanol in each product in which it is used. When used in concentrations of 1% or less, phenoxyethanol in skin care is a safe and effective preservative, according to the Cosmetic Ingredient Review. This is also the same standard used by the European Commission on Health and Food Safety.
Is your deodorant gel-based?
We had reformulated our deodorant near the end of June of 2022, after receiving customer feedback on our initial formulation. Our current deodorant formulation has a firmer roll-on gel base compared to our previous formulation.
What does the Classic scent/Coconut-Apricot Scent smell like?
Our classic scent is a combination of bergamot orange, clary sage, and patchouli. So it is a mixture of citrus and earthy scents. Meanwhile, the coconut-apricot scent is a sweeter and lighter fruit-based scent composed of coconut and apricot.
I am experiencing itching/mild irritation after using your deodorant for a few days. Is this normal?
It sounds like you may have a sensitivity to one or more ingredients in the deodorant. Alternatively, if you were previously using an aluminum-based deodorant and this is the first time trying a natural, aluminum-free deodorant, then your body might be undergoing a "detoxification" period during the switch.
I am experiencing itching/burning/major irritation after using your deodorant for a few days. Is that normal?
It sounds like you might have a sensitivity or allergy to one or more ingredients in the deodorant. Unfortunately, it is difficult to tell which ingredient(s) might be causing the reaction without knowing your individual sensitivities.
